Owned by and operated by Captain Justin Chilumo, a lifelong Watamu resident with an unmatched passion for the sea, this vessel is designed for both seasoned anglers and adventurous families looking for an unforgettable day on the water

The Ol Jogi 3 is a rugged and reliable 33 ft Bertram, a legendary hull known for its stability and performance in diverse sea conditions.

Performance: Powered by Twin Caterpillar 3208 V8 Diesel engine, it ensures you spend less time travelling and more time with your lines in water. 

Amenities: The boat is fully equipped for long days offshore, featuring a fighting chair for big game battles, a GPS and fishfinder for precision tracking and a flybridge for optimal spotting.

Onboard Comfort: For your convenience, the vessel include a private toilet, a small bed for resting and an ice box to keep your refreshments and catch fresh.

Our fishing excursions commence in the Watamu waters on our standard weekday trips. Subsequently, we voyage to renowned hotspots such as Malindi, Mambrui, and Ngomeni, contingent upon the fishing and weather conditions. Our approach encompasses various specialized techniques, including:

  • Trolling baits and lures for Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and Marlin
  • Power drifting with live bait for Marlin, Shark, and Giant Trevally
  • Baiting for Tiger Sharks
  • Bottom fishing with bait for Grouper and Snappers
  • Jigging for GTs, Yellowtails, Grouper and Snapper
